Goldiie

Goldiie for De Kunstfabriek
Like almost all of my shoots, this felt less like a standard assignment and more like play, at least for me. Goldiie and I were no longer just photographer and artist, but rather two individuals playing around and enjoying a moment of shared creativity. We were like kids on a playground.
About Exhibition
The Shape It Takes — last year at De Kunstfabriek
An exploration of fragility, transformation, and resilience, where flowers become enduring forms through metal, resin, and touch. Jewelry as memory, as resonance, as connection.
This exhibition brings Goldiie's multidisciplinary practice across design, art, and music. Drawing on her Caribbean roots and her life in the Netherlands, she weaves together identity, heritage, and tradition into intimate works that are less about ornament and more about conversation between past and present, here and elsewhere, self and community.
Rotterdam, 2025
